A flame to warm your soul. My art is my passion, my passion is fueled by my desire, and desire is the driving force of the universe. I look to further investigate in an articulate manner both in terms of the content and painting itself to create these worlds. I'm interested in experiencing emotion and telling stories, reactions and feelings, spirtually and mystically.

When you slow down enough to see the shadow under a person’s foot as they walk - how it constantly changes size and form - then you can open your mind to see the world for its beauty. Nature has taught me the ability to see each and everything for its own grace and spirt. The balance in nature is proportion, yet trees, just like the human form, defies that; growing at their own strength, reaching for their own dreams, and stretching their own roots.

With a history in dance I use color and texture to express the energy I want to share with the universe. The process in creating abstract work is as freeing as it it is to dance as though no one is watching. Because there is rarely a specific subject matter the artist has the freedom to keep adding and dancing and developing, the hard part is knowing when its done. In most cases its the point when i have exhausted myself into the painting. Acyclic is a perfect medium for this type of work because of its fast drying time and variety of pre-made colors, the ease of paint to canvas is important to the artist cus when you wanna dance you just gotta dance!

Dance as an art form has helped me express movement and energy all my life. The complexity of the human form is endless and powerful. Examining the form has helped me self discover and express my own grace, balance, and core.

Over time and life I have found many moments of bliss. I believe it has been a state of mind in combination of environment and exposure. Allowing myself to appreciate the wonder of everyday life, opening my eyes, my heart, my mind, in a new way, feeling with all my senses, absorbing and giving to my environment completely. Refusing to be numb, expecting little, and demanding everything of myself.
